Examination : Why UPSR should go rather than PMR

all started up when i commented on her previous post

Yea... i know, education again.... But like whatever..

Better for me to express the unspoken..

Plus, dats my freedom of speech(remember)..

So, after such a long period taken by the "so-called round

table" by the Ministry of Education

Berjanggut la tunggu keputusan yg terlalu lama....

Had u heard of the idiom,

"too many cooks spoil the broth"??

tu la... ramai sgt duk berbincang, lama plak tu...

MAKA???

keluarlah keputusan yg mengejutkan!!!

UPSR will be Continued... (with a bit of adjustment here n there they said)

PMR??? ----ABOLISHED.. like wut?

then tukar kepada = school based assessment ... (Shoot!)

Ministry of Education..

Kenapa???

The result should be otherwise...

UPSR are the one that should be abolished

Why Upsr is not relevant for me!

We must bear in mind... that the factor we must put forth is the condition of pupils 1st, before we make any decision...

Maybe kementerian xnampak 1 other important aspect..

which is -BIOLOGICAL FACTOR-

different child had different level of maturity,,,

yup, setengah tu x baligh lagi..

So, the idea of this examination is irrelevant in the first place..

Most of them cannot even cope with the idea of scoring for examination..

Yea, majority are still in the state of childhood...

"They wont be in favor of examination system that require them to put all their brain-output on paper in final exam.. and been expected to score for it..."

Again, their title aren't students, but pupils i remind all of u!

Yea, considering back .. it is true.. i can still remember how i suck on UPSR... don even gt the idea of the so called 5A's..

only when PMR i realise i shud study and i pays the different!!..

The people who defended UPSR is simply because it will distinguish excellent and poor student

for what purpose???--- Entering GOOD SCHOOL! thats all??

Untung la parents yg dapat anak yg matang awal... and

yg dapat anak skema,duk menghadap buku ja, xreti main..(maybe i sound harsh.. but it's true)

First of all, how do u differentiate good and poor student???

Juz by their BM,BI,SCIENCE n Mths result?

Nope,

these children havent reach

adolescence yet...

Then what should replace them

And they should be evaluated by their -...

-Participation in class

-Efficacy in leadership and Special field-curricular

-Attitudes towards learning

-Oral tests of Bahasa and English

-Improvement on examination, not on instant exams only

-and so on...

I've seen the BM n BI paper for standard 6 pupils... and it sucks!!!! the question are not to their level of mindset.....

But Why PMR is ok???

No, not really ok... but we just need to improve the content of PMR??

the 8 subject is of course a lot...

but its basic and

i find no problem so far...

Just ubah la... examination's subject so that, the school can decide better which student should go Science Stream and Art Stream..

cuz until now, still student find themself in the wrong lane...

once we open rooms for the school to decide on what evaluation the wish to put on their students, that's where all the problems come
OMG... NO Uniformity, Bias Marks, the main objectives will be diverted and will be different in all school..
 I dont see any benefit!
As if there's no examination in the first place.
How come school be given autonomous power on deciding this.??
(what's the function of "jabatan" n "kementerian" in the first place)???
what if the school comprises mainly of "slow" student
and compare it to Top schools..

Yg maju terus maju.. yg mundur terus mundur.....

The Verdict or final decision of the Ministry

should decide based on students

Readiness, Age, Maturity, Relevance to Future demand.... and Competency

P/S : Still hear no uplifting of Co-Curricular importance in school... damn.. i tell u like Millions of time... Learning in practical is more effectives than in Books... May our children have the best

This issue has never cease to stop.. especially by the extreme political animal in Malaysia.

And this issue is strong enough that push me to understand more whether our citizens in Malaysia is Suppressed by the Government.... Is it true???

Compare to Malaysia... we apply COLLECTIVISM...

where the respect on races,religion n other group of society is preserved..

I never officially in my life became a leader before... Yea,

mai nk share...

Masa nk hantar resume dulu, takut gila, coz ramai yg hebat2

ramai yg pandai cakap and ramai yg dah terkenal n meletup di sekolah as leader

But i gave myself a try.... and it's worth it..

Im not born out leader

I developed myself as

a leader!!!

( thx to my family for the support n my bro Zharif for the inspiration)

Throughout my service.. i had learn a lot of GREAT THINGS i never learned before

But most importantly ..

IMPOSSIBLE IS ONLY A WORD... Yea, i believe it now

its proven in our programme in Pre law nite , n MOOTING( i will explain this in later post)

But apa yg I nampak... Pre Law, byk sgt cabaran yg kita tempuh...

dalam 3 sem, xdinafikan ada juga diskriminasi sedikit yg diberi

and MUET.... mmg penghalang besar kita.. to achieve band 4

Tapi syukur still ada yg belum putus harapan...

MUET exam is next week...
