Bel Competition..... The Details

Here are the informations of Pre Law Bel Competition

"Best BEL in the Bunch"

PART 2 PRE LAW 5 members

Thursday Night -8.30p.m until 10.30p.m- 5th of August

Venue : Bk1

Open Conference Competition...

Evaluation will be based on the ability of teams from part 2 classes to give best solution to a particular problem...

PART 1 PRE LAW -5-6 members

Friday Morning- 8.00 a.m until 12.30p.m-6th of August

Venue : BK1 * BK 2

Sketch Competition

Evaluation will be base on which teams from the part 1 classes able to performed the most unique, yet highly good quality of sketch, with proper script, props, acting and moral values

PART 3 PRE LAW -4 members

Sunday & Monday NIGHT- 8.00 until 10.30 p.m- 8th & 9th of August

Venue : C10-C16

Debate Competition

Evaluation will be based on teams which have better argument than teh other team...

PRIZES????

1st place : RM 200

2nd place : RM 150

3rd place : RM 100

It's about the class corporation and how each class work together....

Why we still need PMR & UPSR

ok, where should i start....

Ok , the problem with malaysian is...

SUKA IKUT ORANG

ni masalah yg besar...

actually, yea.. for ur info...

me myself adalah orang yg paling kuat menentang sistem pendidikan Malaysia

why ----------> EXAM-ORIENTED

But syg ku wahai menteri2...

Killing spm & upsr doesnt make any good improvement..

The issue here is,

"parent send their childern to school JUZ to pass exam, not really to learn the basic knowledge in life"

Btul, i agree with the statement..

tapi nk selesaikan masalah ni,

we must find the root of problem

which is

1) The syllabus itself that focus more on facts remembrance rather than critical ability of applying knowledge..(blame the textbook)

2) Too many subject are put as compulsory subject to be learn without clear reason of WHY it should be taken

3) THE MAIN PROBLEM... The standard put by the government.....

- nk wat science stream kena dapat A penuh

-nk masuk U kena dapat A penuh

-nk dapat biasiswa kena dapat A penuh

that's where the BULLSHIT come to life

Kemasukan ke Universiti,

kokurikulum hanya 10 %???

choi, dah letak macam tu baik semua pelajar jadi robot... xyah aktif

Fine, i xbiased kali ni

kalau nk sgt hapus upsr n pmr...

persoalan besar : APA GANTIANNYA???

ada la seorang "pakar pendidik" ni kata

"oh, xpa, kita buang examination, kita gantikan dgn class evaluation, sapa boleh jawab soalan yg guru bagi masa P&P, dapat markah... itu gantian terbaik-informal evaluation"

mai saya bidas sikit,,.

EN, awak kena faham... xkan la 1 soalan tu nk semua student dalam satu kelas jawab... xefficient,

for example, question yg diajukan,

question yg xsama... ikut cikgu tu sahaja

lagipun , kena consider,

ada student yg

- Outstanding from the others.. semua dia conquer

-Not good in confidence building, pemalu nk jawab soalan

so, bila markah diberi based on their class participation

timbul la parent yg bisisng

cikgu ni biased la, xfokus anak dia la

-Conclusion, Xsesuai

Actually examination (whether we realise or not)

are the most efficient way to ensure quality

-soalan sama n serentak

(so, never wujud biased n whutsoever)

its juz that, the mindset of

Parents, Teachers and Students

My Recommendation :

Kekalkan Upsr n Pmr, How they are

1)Ubah the requirement

60 % academic qualification from education

40 % Co-curricular activities...

2) Ubah content of subject... make it more

apply-conduct , rather than factual stress!!!

3) More practical evaluation

4) For Subject like History, Biology, more comprehensive quest on critical thinking

5) soft-skills quality knowledge

We are lacking of good leadership in school n university!

Actually,

I do agree that our examination system needs a lot of change...

But again and again....

sumtimes we need to improve what we had,

instead trying to follow others,

Remember,...

We had our own identity!!!
Juz strengthen the sloop..

My comments was based on understanding different position n considering every consequences that may apply.... bukan pandangan ikut hati n suka

P/S : At my time, i kena kutuk with my class teacher sbb terlalu aktif koko, n xmasuk kelas..... patut nya, a lil thanks pun ok, sbb bawa nama sekolah ke pertandingan luar... but sbb koko la, i am myself today...
